Set in the heart of the Lancashire countryside, this project transformed a former coach house into a stylish home, drawing on urban design and a contemporary approach to rural living. As a Grade II listed sandstone building which dates back to 1715, renovating The Coach House didn't come without its challenges, but our clients were delighted with the finished results. The home now boasts a large, open plan, triple height living space within the restored structure, which is light, airy and modern. Going beyond the original building, the renovation is complemented further by the addition of a brand-new structure using reclaimed materials, which houses five spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms.

The Coach House conversion isn’t merely a structural renovation, many incredible interior features have been installed by our team of craftsmen including stone masons, carpenters, joiners, oak wrights and lead workers, all finished to the highest standard. From a state-of-the-art Poggenpohl kitchen to a stunning floating American walnut staircase with an elegant glass balustrade, it's a sleek transformation. Finishing touches include a Bang & Olufsen entertainment system in all recreational areas, including the external terrace, as well as Lutron mood lighting throughout and underfloor heating. The Coach House demonstrates the innovative thinking and impeccable craftsmanship that we pride ourselves on and is the perfect example of a modern barn conversion.
